Engineered for the truth.

The speaker cabinet is an exceptionally important part of a loudspeaker. If cabinet vibrations are not controlled and optimized the end result will never impress. You can choose to overengineer the speaker with extremely rare and expensive materials or you can use smart and clever engineering to overcome the problem in an efficient way. Inside of S3 you find a high performance Force Cancelling Subwoofer System. The subwoofers are axially aligned and operate in phase to cancel almost all cabinet vibrations that plauge a majority of loudspeakers. Just touch the cabinet when playing bass heavy tracks and discover that almost no vibrations are present in the cabinet. The result is a much higher resolution, clarity and definition in the whole audible range. We have even taken the vibration issue even further. Our 29mm high end silk dome tweeter are fixtured to a thick solid CNC milled Aluminium front to avoid vibration even furter. The result is class leading resolution and definition.

Virtual Source Point Technology

Imagine a manual camera focus – if you don’t set the focus correctly the image will be unfocused and blurred. A loudspeaker acts in the same way. All drivers must be precisely time aligned. In many speakers you find a tweeter above or below a single midrange/midwoofer, this will give a slightly distorted origin of sound and part of the human voice will appear to come from different places vertically and cause a disjointed focus and realism. Sometimes the drivers are not even time aligned… In Stream S3 we utilize an MTM (D’Appolito) layout to avoid the vertical smearing of the acoustic output. Importantly – all drivers, including the subwoofers, are precisely time-aligned in the digital domain and apear to come from one single virtual point. The result is unprecedented clarity and focus with a truly holographic soundstaging.

With S3:s High-Resolution wireless WiSA technology, high-definition audio is transmitted and received wirelessly in 24Bit 96kHz resolution. That's higher resolution than redbook CD. The result is an immersive listening experience with jaw-dropping 3-dimensional sound staging.

It all started 1994

Our history dates back to the early 90ies and WIJK Acoustics.

Accuvoice Cheif Designer Anders Wijk founded WIJK Acoustics 1994 with the goal to manufacture the ultimate loudspeaker for high-end audio enthusiasts on a budget. The simple reason: Commercially available speakers that he (maybe) could live with were completely out of reach, like Wilson WattPuppy, KEF Reference 107 and a handful others. Even today some 30 years later there is still demand for vintage 2:nd hand WIJK speakers. We have recently made upgrade kits available for owners to keep the speakers singing for many years to come… A statement of our timeless design and genuine quality.
